Cellular systems specification is an important research topic as it allows us to model structure and dynamics of many real-world systems. We use meta-modeling, model-transformation, and the Discrete-EVent system Specification (DEVS), for the automatic construction and simulation of cellular models. Our focus here is on the generation of those models through graphical means (using meta-modeling and model-transformation concepts) rather than on their efficient simulation. Through the presented framework, complexity of systems can be adaptively and precisely tackled.
