Modelling and Simulation - Winter 2012 - COMP 522
Final Project - Hybrid and Multi-Formalism Modelling
Project Abstract
Hybrid Modelling Formalism combines continuous-time and discrete-time simulation together, and allows continuous-time subsystems interaction with discrete events.
So, it's effective to model physical systems interacting with software or undergoing discrete mode changes.
The aim of this project is to explore how to use hybrid modelling formalism to stimulate the real-world system.
A train transportation is modelled and simulated using HyVisual, which is a block-diagram editor and simulator for
continuous-time dynamical systems and hybrid systems.
