Domain-specific visual modelling is a relatively new area in the software engineering. The development of this methodology is accompanied by a need for good visual modelling tools. This paper compares the capabilities and features of two modelling tools: AToMPM and GROOVE. A case study shows the different features of one such tool named GROOVE.
