Abstract

Experiment simulations are usually expressed in a programming language. A better development of experimental processes is done by providing a formalism specifically for this task. A sound and intuitive formalism to express experiments on DEVS models in AToMPM is presented here. To this end, we present the concepts of experimental frames and models. We introduce the concept of our new formalism, ExpDevs. An application for a railway DEVS model is shown and a comparison with SED-ML is made.
