Kristof De Middelaer - Modelling with Papyrus

  Abstract

Domain specific modeling languages (DSML) are often built from scratch. An alternative way of doing this is by taking the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and tailoring it to the needs of the domain. This can be done by using UML's profiling system. We take a look at how we can use Papyrus (an Eclipse based UML2 modeling tool) to accomplish this goal in the railway domain.
